Absolutely cracking game of #Pillage tonight at the Hamburg club. The Saxons and the Vikings got into a proper ruck whilst the sneaky Welsh were having away with the boat.

Looking forward to our Geekend gaming event where @redmanphill.bsky.social has designed a supper campaign for us.

Some #pillage practice tonight, trying to see how these Saxons stand up to a massed assault of Welsh and Vikings! #nerdlings #wargaming

I prepared a short players handbook for our #Geekend #pillage campaign in two weeks. I’ve to keep a lot of it secret as the campaign mechanics and scenarios unlock based on what cards are drawn. It’s all based on a previous #saga campaign where the Anglo Saxons went undefeated. #nerdlings #wargaming

I made a field / animal pen. Fencing was based on the scenery instructions in the back of the Pillage rule book. Learnt a LOT, but overall, I'm pretty happy with it.

Might add turfs of veg, but might do that as the next project.

I need a source of fire for my village terrain in #pillage. I have spent far too long creating this today. Now to get it based and painted. #nerdlings #wargaming

Had a extra long shift at the shop, but I still got out on day 1818 of the #hobbystreak to spray prime my Viking and Irish Warriors of the Pillage Start Box. It was the only time I got to enjoy the nice weather today. #Pillage #historicalminiatures #wargames #miniaturepainting

#Victrix
#Pillage

I didn’t have enough energy tonight to set up and play the next Pillage scenario so I just built some of the terrain instead.

Dark ages hut and small animal pen. Plastic 28mm terrain kit from Victrix.

Twice now, I have had my scenery warped by PVA glue (watered down in both cases). Once on cardboard, and once with MDF.

Question: What glue do people use to avoid this?
