A small, round island covered in grass and wildflowers floats in a vast cloudy sky. Near its top, two people sit facing each other on a red and cream patchwork blanket beneath a striped parasol. The person on the left wears a bonnet and a plaid dress and holds a strawberry. The person on the right wears a cap, a pale shirt, and boots, with one hand raised as though speaking. A wicker basket full of strawberries rests beside them, and more berries sit on a plate between them. Two slender flowering trees grow behind the picnic spot. Grass and roots trail from the underside of the island, while loose scraps and small dark shapes drift through the surrounding air. Sunlight breaks through the clouds on the right, leaving the lower sky in shadow.
