Spent an hour arranging the perfect pile of autumn leaves. My neighbor and his leaf blower had other plans. 🍂

Behold: An ancient, forged-iron bracket salvaged from a sunken 18th-century warship... 🏴‍☠️Just kidding. It’s a weathered corner of my plastic outdoor shoe rack.

A dramatic, ultra-close-up macro photograph that looks exactly like a heavy, weathered industrial iron bracket fastened by a rugged metal rivet. In reality, it is a completely mundane corner of a plastic outdoor shoe rack. The photographer zoomed in so close using a macro lens extension that the weathered, UV-damaged plastic looks like an ancient artifact from a shipwreck. The lighting is moody and cinematic, perfectly illuminating the textures of a cheap piece of furniture that was just being used as a test dummy to pre-focus a camera before a cicada got away.
