@dogdeskaction.bsky.socialTonight we leave a light on🕯️🐾
For the strays losing their lives to systemic cruelty in Türkiye, Pakistan, India, Romania, Morocco and Kazakhstan.
Killed, injured, persecuted or simply failed by the systems meant to protect them
Tonight, we remember them. ❤️
@dogdeskaction.bsky.socialThis #PetMemorialDay, we remember the countless stray puppies who never got the chance to grow old. Lives lost to preventable disease. To road accidents. To untreated injuries. To dangers that should never have been their fate. They mattered. Every single one. 🐾🕯️
@dogdeskaction.bsky.socialFor rescuers, fosterers, carers and vets, loving animals sometimes means grieving them too.
Today we remember the ones people fought for, cared for and loved. Like shelter dog Kate
@eventguide.bsky.social@dogdeskaction.bsky.socialToday we remember the dogs who had no family to mourn them.
The street dogs who disappeared unnoticed.
The shelter dogs nobody chose.
The dogs we gave names to like Honey
They mattered too. 🐾
@nohovet.bsky.socialNational Pet Memorial Day is a time to remember the pets who left paw prints on our hearts. 🌈🐾 Share a favorite photo, name, or memory of a beloved pet and help us honor them today. #PetMemorialDay #PetRemembrance #BelovedPets
