#hotwaterannealing of #petg #3dprint printed with a 100% part cooling fan. The original part breaks easily. The annealed one seems to be indestructible but it is deformed because it stayed hot over a long time. The problem may not be weak layer adhesion but internal stress. #3dprinting #3dprinter

A hot water annealed 3d-printed screw out of petg and the untreated screw.The annealed screw is nearly unbreakable, but it is deformed by the annealing process. The untreated screw broke in the middle by trying to bend it by hand.
