A Northern Harrier (marsh hawk), is captured in mid-flight. The bird is banking sharply downward with its wings arched and broad primary feathers spread, angled as if scanning the ground or preparing to drop toward prey.  It has distinctive dark brown and mottled plumage are visible on its back and wings, contrasted by a prominent white patch (rump patch) right above its tail. Its head is bowed downward, focused intently below.  The background features a soft-focus, muted blue-gray hillside under a clear sky, with natural daylight highlighting the texture of the hawk's wings and back.A medium shot captures a raptor in flight against a soft-focus, hazy blue-gray background. The bird is angled in profile, flying from left to right, with its head turned slightly downward as if scanning the ground below. Its wings are partially folded upward, displaying dark brown primary and covert feathers with lighter brown and tawny underwings. A distinct white patch is visible at the base of its tail.A medium shot captures a raptor in flight, viewed from behind and slightly above as it glides low over a marshy landscape.
