This is a short book about a devastating war and its aftermath from a dog’s POV. I think his loss and confusion mirror our own when we are confronted with brutality and loss. Highly recommend. #etna #booksky #paulyoon

I almost never read novels, but I heard Scott Simon's interview with author #PaulYoon on NPR Weekend Edition and I promptly bought " #Etna." This book is the most affecting work of fiction I've encountered in years, and in a way it is the perfect read for our current dark times. Highly recommended.
