Happy birthday to big Paddy Howard today.

A no nonsense Centre half and somewhat of a Newcastle cult hero.

Another legend and another absolute gentleman.

..disallowed. Eric Winstanley & Pat Howard were outstanding in defence, so much so that the next day, Newcastle United manager Joe Harvey, who watched the game, moved to sign 23 year old Howard & the deal was completed a few days later. 2/2 #BarnsleyFC #NewcastleUnited #PatHoward
