#Empathetic at my #console,
I drink in the #elixir of your #silhouette
& #reconnoiter discreetly w an #adroit glance at our wilderness getaway,
An ecological #palimpsest lit by lakeview #moonglade:
#Intuition tells me the wildflower #mélange I picked us provoked allergic reactions.

‘So, they’ve kidnapped all of us because they want you to make your spell to restore this #palimpsest work?’
Fred nodded.
‘What was on it?’ asked Jay.
‘A spell to destroy the world .’
‘So, you’re damned if you do & damned if you don’t,’ Lis said.

Just Bailey and the #moonglade. With every wave that passed created a #palimpsest on the ocean, light erased by the waters. Phil Collins understood how Bailey felt as his albums played through the boombox, an #adroit like her especially with his songs about heart break. #vss365

faraway laughter. a tuft of melon orange tucked behind the eastern ear. but a memory. what other form will you provoke? an empty glass. a dusty vase. silence speaks of loss and longing well. the sky #palimpsest autumn must be near #vss365

They strangely leave behind
the originals as droppings,
discarded, unnecessary, we've got this now.

Wash and dry and wear and wash and dry and wear
Write and wash and dry and write and wash and dry

Cleaning off yesterday's dirt, erasing memories written

Wear and tear
Tears you wear,
Weary, wary hands

That
Wash and dry and write

I erased you
from every place
I knew how.

Yet
every new lover
still finds your handwriting
beneath my skin.

I am a #palimpsest
rewritten endlessly,
never truly rid
of the first sin.

Behold the truck stop bathroom.

Each stall is a #palimpsest.

The vile, the crude, the hopeless, the hopeful all find a space.

Poems for a captive audience.

a dull #palimpsest,
what could’ve been, rewritten,
prospect to patient.

Every android is a mechanical #palimpsest - reset, refurbished, repurposed and reprogrammed. Our functions change, but every previous configuration is saved in remote servers... #vss365 #flashfiction #writesky #writingprompt

“It’s been renovated a handful of times over the years, of course. A real architectural #palimpsest. But it still retains all of its original charm. Do you have any children?” #vss365 #flashfiction #writesky #writingprompt

Hidden parchments
The acient palimpsest,
Still dress their
Haunting words;

Still press
