Starting to get the hang of layering whites: base with an off-white, shade with gray, highlight in white.

Yellow is not “two thin coats”, it’s more like thirty. Phoenix came out nicely with little effort.

At first, I wasn’t at all keen on Carnage, as I find the character really ugly and couldn’t relate to him at all. However, I actually ended up having quite a lot of fun painting him.
