Got real into cardboard texture plates tonight!

Gel prints on deli or copy paper. Last pictures have cardboard pieces. Started with design from Susan Clifton and went from there (link below)

Abstract exercise starting with 4 papers taped together. I might add more to these later

Any favorites? I like elements of 1 & 2 best

I thought I added some interesting marks to this paper but now that it’s dry, it looks dull as heck. More thinking needed

Fun reminder of how much I enjoy transparent layers in collage ❤️

I was going to add these grungy papers into my collage folder but glued them into my #sketchbook instead. Something for future me to play with

More messing with masks

Need to work on color combos and keeping certain colors from beading up so much

I wanted to cut up funky mask shapes based on a video I watched

Didn’t turn out at all how I imagined but I can try again

(Also happy to use some yellow ochre because I have a huge bottle to get through)
