@jamdelay.bsky.socialThe Canada Men wrap up an impressive #PacificNationsCup campaign with a HUGE win over the USA in Tokyo!
Ranked 10 places higher than Canada, The USA finish a disappointing September 0-2. The Eagles haven't beaten Canada since 2024!
@jamdelay.bsky.socialIt went down pretty well last week, so here are the USA 23 to face Canada with their Club Colours!
I would love to do the same for the Canada 23 but it's tricky to find headshots for a lot of them, unfortunately😔
@narugbydb.comIt's a North American derby on the other side of the world as the US face Canada for 3rd place in the 2026 #PacificNationsCup!
Like last week, 21 of the USA 23 played in #MLR2026! The Chicago Hounds lead the way with 7, plus 2 on the Canadian side!
@jamdelay.bsky.socialOti Pifeleti & Julian Roberts earns their first USA starts, and Legion centre Cassh Maluia makes his test debut!
Lance Williams comes into the back row with Carty back at 10 for the first time this year!
@seawolves.rugby prop Mason Pedersen joins the reserves!
@jamdelay.bsky.socialNot a great deal of change from last week for Canada to face the US.
Foster DeWitt returns at hooker and Ethan Fryer is in for the injured Siôn Parry for his first start since 2024!
In the backs, they field a half-back combo of Kilgour and Coats for the first time!
@bashirra.bsky.socialOn Sunday, the #RugbyCA men's national team put in a valiant effort against the @fijirugby union men's national team but lost 45-29, as the #FlyingFijians had a strong start to the game.
@jamdelay.bsky.socialIt's the middle of the night for fans in North America, in a 3rd place playoff game in a reduced #PacificNationsCup tournament that's out of regular test windows and kinda only serves as Nations Cup prep...
...But it's still Canada v USA, and it's always spicy!
@jamdelay.bsky.socialEven though there was almost no #MLR news (STILL no statement on Anthem...), @ryanye.bsky.social and I still managed to spend almost an hour chatting about the #PacificNationsCup and the impact that 'Rugby's Greatest Rivalry' had in the US!
@sumikai.bsky.socialJapan hat die USA mit 63:14 besiegt und zieht damit ins Finale des Pacific Nations Cup ein. #Rugby #Sport #Japan #PacificNationsCup

@jamdelay.bsky.socialThought it might be fun to see the USA lineup for their clash with Japan in their club colours!
