Here's a nice little #clojure project I'm pleased with. I have some modelling primitives that I can compile to #openscad (not a new thing). Now I've added a compiler that emits TCL which I can use with OpenCASCADE's 'DRAWEXE' binary to create a step file using the same definition

Some early days screenshots from my photomode tool in #godotengine. Models built in #OpenSCAD, imported through #Blender with the import process sped along by #ClaudeCode.

So, sat down and drew basic versions of the Landing Barge and the basic EUAF utility vehicles in #openscad . Tthey feature in my #TotalWar #scifi setting. These things are pretty massive with a max take off weight of around 6000 tonnes. But I have to choose a #camo scheme. Thoughts?

Another bit of shameless 3D geekery. It's a cradle to mount a Minirig speaker unit on rubber feet so the vibrations don't blow everything to bits. Amazing what you can do with just a few lines of #OpenSCAD. Then FILE ... PRINT and you have the object in front of you. A miracle I'm still not used to.

I have to say once again the #openscad is awesome.. at least it works well for my brain. #vim and the lightweight openscad viewer open in a separate window is all the 3d design tooling I need right now. It helps that my brain thinks in constructive solid geometry.

When people find out you have a 3D printer and know how to do #OpenSCAD modelling, the requests starting coming in! This one is a plastic cap to cover some electronics on a project motorbike. The shell is 3 Bezier points, spun into 3D and hollowed out by subtracting a shrunken version of itself.
