As I continue to lay in a hospital bed, slowly recovering from the massive injuries imposed upon me by a drunk driver, I see a parallel between those who have cared for me and the kindness of the folks helping this coyote pup.

Neither me or the pup deserve to suffer.

This gentleman speaks some powerful, inconvenient truth.

Elderly homeless have been cast out by a heartless society that just doesn't give a shit.

Young homeless have been cast out by their own heartless families.

Yes, very true.
Blessed be the caregiver.
Especially if the afflicted person is confined to bed.

And then there are those extremely unfortunate souls who are confined to their beds and are all alone.

Sigh.

Please forgive any unintentional trauma dumping, but after recently being crippled by the criminal actions of a drunk driver, this is proving to be an unbelievably dark & lonely time in my so-called life.

Your "follow" really is appreciated.

Just one cat; maybe.

Two kittens, swimming that distance, leads me to believe in the authenticity of the scenario, especially when one considers the heartlessness & cruelty demonstrated against animals far too often.
