#FamilyHistory #OnePlaceStudies It does not always work. Charles Kitson & family appeared in Colnbrook 1871 census. There were no good matches with earlier censuses to find where they came from. Parents confessed when the children were baptised to being Charles Reeley and Phoebe Rixon.

I have 3 #OnePlaceStudies - a village (population c600), a #StreetStudy of 28 houses, & a home for inebriate women (total of no more than 100 people). I tend to hyperfocus on one at a time, but the focus shifts, so they all get their turn!

I was going to add something similar. I have enjoyed being part of the #FamilyHistory / #OnePlaceStudies community but increasingly that involvement means more exposure to GenAI, the limited benefits of which come at a cost (to the environment and society) which, for me, is just too high.
