@djkeng.bsky.socialFor an episode steeped in fantasy and seasoned with the ridiculous, #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds Season 4 Episode 9 #OnceLaanATime contained some really thoughtful and reflective lines in presenting shadow selves of all the main crew members.
@djkeng.bsky.socialTPTB pulled double duty with #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds #OnceLaanATime in reintroducing the Kingdom of Elysian AND MAXimizing the #CarolKane content by sending up #ThePrincessBride
Talk about pulling out ALL the stops in terms of costumes! 😍
@mhenson144.bsky.socialDragon versus Enterprise might be one of the most visually stunning things I’ve ever seen. 😱 #StrangeNewWorlds #OnceLaanATime
@mhenson144.bsky.socialLa’an and Uhura are once again *serving* this episode. #StrangeNewWorlds #OnceLaanATime
@mhenson144.bsky.socialIf I had a nickel for every time La’an injured Kirk this season… 😅 #StrangeNewWorlds #OnceLaanATime
@mhenson144.bsky.social“That is… not what I would have surmised.” 🤣 #StrangeNewWorlds #OnceLaanATime
@mhenson144.bsky.social“Oh… you don’t know what a van is.”
I love Pelia. #StrangeNewWorlds #OnceLaanATime
@mhenson144.bsky.socialFell behind this past week, so it’s time for a season finale double feature! #StrangeNewWorlds #OnceLaanATime
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyHow is M'Benga still on the Enterprise? Didn't he admit to poisoning Admiral Reeger in the last episode?
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyWTH happened at the end of this?
La'an goes to the transporter pad, comes back, decides to let her hair down, and then hook up with Kirk - is that the real La'an or her doppelganger?
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyEvil Queen Uhura's dragon is kinda cute. I want to pet it.
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyLa'an and her freakin' darkness need to read a Wolverine comic book to get some perspective!
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyAlt-Capt Pike, just like Capt Pike, is a party animal!
@mirrorayako.universeodon.com.ap.brid.gyI sure did but I’m about to pass out! Good night crew!

If this series ends without an explanation of what happened in TOS’ the Menagerie, I’m going to lose my sh*t.

@joewynne.mstdn.plus.ap.brid.gyAh, my bedtime story was good! Thank you all for your participation. This was fun! I think Captain Ayako maybe even made it to the end.
Next week, I'll be travelling, so we'll see if I can sneak in somehow.
