@getrealjc.bsky.socialSometimes changing your perspective means getting down in the dirt. The iPhone makes a surprisingly great macro camera, especially for shots that would be tough with a full-size camera and lens. And, the forest looks pretty impressive from a mushroom’s point of view.
@getrealjc.bsky.socialMany people call this an Ermine, but it is really a Stoat. That's the name used when the animal has its brown summer coat, and ermine is the name used when it changes into its pure white winter coat. Technically, they are the exact same animal!
@getrealjc.bsky.socialThis Coastal Brown Bear was happily searching for salmon when he paused, then looked straight at me. For a moment, I feel like his mind was thinking “I’m tired of fish. I wonder what that meat sack with the camera tastes like!” 😋
@getrealjc.bsky.socialHeading to Alaska, I had one image in mind that I really wanted to capture, and it was a bear running through a river hunting salmon. Fortunately, this younger boy was not a great fisherman and gave me several opportunities to capture my dream.
