Reminded me of a Wes Anderson film. The trailer you’ve seen isn’t really the movie. It has a great twist, although I think it’s revealed a little too early.

I can only comment on the first third! The chase sequence was really good, although some of the CGI was ropey. Then I fell asleep and woke up to a completely different film. Maybe I missed something, but the ending made no sense.

If you’re a dog lover, you’re going to enjoy this film. There wasn’t a dry eye in the cinema by the end. A real emotional one for anyone who loves dogs.

Started off great. As a parent, I could completely sympathise with the teacher, I bet many go through situations like this daily. But it became unrealistic and created a problem for itself.

@thesmorgan.bsky.socialResident Evil
Some great jump scares, but it should’ve had more. I thought it leaned too much into the comedy, but overall I enjoyed it. Spotted a few Easter eggs along the way too.

@nordic.skyen.live@thesmorgan.bsky.socialFall 2: Deadpoint
Another example of why some sequels aren’t needed. The story feels shoehorned in just to link back to the first, but it’s nowhere near as good. And there aren’t nearly enough sweaty palms moments this time.

What a great story, and I’m glad they made it. It deserves to be told, but it doesn’t really translate into an entertaining film, especially when history tells you how it ends.

@thesmorgan.bsky.socialThe Death of Robin Hood
Started brilliantly, but took a turn for the worse. I didn’t like the story or where they took the character. Could’ve done much more with it, though it looks great visually.
