Hello Ladies & Gentlemen! On September 26th, 2026, at 1:00 PM in The Open Book in The Village at Topanga, The Persaud Foundation will be hosting our Oceanic Literacy Day! We will be having an oceanic storytime for children at 1:00 PM with the book "Shark Lady: The True Story of How Eugenie Clark Became the Ocean's Most Fearless Scientist", by Jess Keating, & we will be going over some intriguing things about some of the oceans most misrepresented animals, sharks! We will be handing out Stickers, Pins, & Shark Education Fact Cards while supplies last! If you decide to purchase any books & mention our nonprofit, 20% of your purchase will be donated to us. This event is completely free. Whether you're a marine enthusiast or just curious about the underwater world, this event is perfect for all ages & families. Learn about marine conservation, discover fascinating facts about ocean life, and get inspired to protect our seas for future generations. Have a whale of a time at The Open Book, Topanga.
