A warm, atmospheric still-life portrait of a weathered relief plaque of the Buddhist deity Green Tara, displayed on a carved dark-wood stand with an openwork arched back. Green Tara is seated in meditation with her right foot extended forward onto a small lotus. Her skin glows in a soft, rich malachite green, draped in dusty lavender and mauve garments and adorned with golden armbands, layered necklaces, and a five-pointed crown. Her serene face features peaceful, downcast eyes, and her left hand is raised near her heart, holding the slender stem of a blooming lotus that rests beside her shoulder. The textured terracotta-and-ochre background plaque is framed with an engraved halo and subtle sun-and-moon motifs. On the upper left rim, fine hairline fracture marks from a past repair are visible, honoring the object's history and enduring presence.
