This #NYTMCollection photo shows an EE train in 1976. Originally, the EE ran via the Eighth Avenue local between Forest Hills-71 Av (known then as 71st–Continental Avenues station) and Chambers Street during off peak hours. This service was discontinued in 1940.

ICYMI: Bus 303 is a 1918 wooden bodied, open-top double decker bus. It made its debut at this year's Bus Festival after three years of meticulous restoration by the dedicated MTA Vintage Fleet Services team. Bus 303 is now the oldest bus in the #NYTMcollection!

🚌 Restored and ready for its #BusFestival debut, Bus 303 is secret no. 30.

Welcome to the #NYTMCollection, Bus 303! This 1918 wooden-bodied, open-top double-decker bus is now our newest (and oldest) bus. It was restored by a dedicated team of body maintainers at @MTA.info New York City Transit.
