Today drops a new set in Master Duel - Selection Pack: Arising of the Apocalypse. Let's see what it adds to my favorite alt format - #NRFormat
🧵👇

Today's #NRFormat Wheel deck was Marincess Mannadium! An interesting overlap. Mannadium is very xenophobic, but Mannadium Meek is Water so there is a bridge. Since Torrid is Fire you can use Atlantis with both archetypes. And Mannadium opens up Synchro options for you

New day, new wheel spin! Silent Cyberdark lol. There is like, no overlap here 😑There are level 3s I guess? Cyberdark Materiactor is totally fine, and Silent Sword Slash is cool. XYZ Entrust is there to make Swordsman Lv3 into a Lv5 but in a silly way. How would you bridge these two decks?
#NRformat

For today's #NRFormat deck, I spun a wheel! And got Ghostrick Reptilianne. There is an interesting synergy between the Reptilianne set ATK to 0 and Ghostrick Socuteboss destroy monsters with low ATK. Nekomusume is also a floodgate effect. An interesting combination for sure

Thought it had been a while since I had seen a #NRFormat Megalith deck. Boss Stage unbanned Bethor to 1 copy, which gives the deck some explosions back. Ashlan still makes finding Lord of the Red easy. 3 Imp Fields might be too much but I was running out of ideas lol #NRMD #NRJP

That's a nice #NRFormat deck you got there, wanna try adding a Roland engine to it?

@mikusheep.bsky.social inspired me
Wicked Serpent Night Dragon is a strong NR card that can clear boards and fuel Darks in the GY. Orcust likes Darks in GY but is also competent on its own. It has 7s for xyzDAD but you can also cheat it with the Serpent Dragon

not to be a shill for Coder
but he do be making the best #NRFormat content recently

Did some refining. Hopefully, Ogdoadic is a little stronger than a Magnum Package. Archfiend might still be worth the include if you can find the space for it. Maybe over some Eye of Illusion and Tao Tao? I wanted to keep it at 40 though. Just seems like a fun #NRFormat deck

Today I've made a #NRFormat Pyro deck! This deck has the vibe of yesterdays game play but with some of todays cards. Watchdog does a good job of getting you Blaze Accelerator. Pyro is one of the underloved typings in yugioh as a whole, not just N/R, so it was a little tough

Had a revelation last night - Trickstar Bloom enables the #NR Hecahands to ss themselves! Giving them a real use case. You can also Archfiend Playtime into Advent to steal their mon, then tribute summon if in a pinch. Bloom is also good Magnum fodder

A #NRFormat deck I've been meaning to post but got sidetracked by the last set: OBLITERATE CHAD!!!
This deck wants to combine the bouncing power of OBLITERATE with the bonus effect of Battleguard Echoes to control your opponet's field. Bad vs Ennea, but fun against the rest #NRMD

Its a shame Enneacraft being in the #NRFormat makes Book of Moon effects so much worse. Scuffle into Bat was so funny in Tri-Bri

Today is a weird one. Painful Escape is a fun #NRFormat search for cards that would get hit by removal so why not use it to to summon Earthbound Immortal Uru? Resonators make 7s which gives a second Normal with Circle of Fairies. Escape gets Walker or Doomdog or a Field spell?!

Today's #NRformat deck is sort of a nothingburger? CC Soiree Operations says you cant use the effects of ED monsters until the end of the next turn. The idea was: opponent End Phase, Soiree into 2 Meteors. Your turn, XYZ a Crazy Beast. Use Beast on opp turn. #NRMD #NRJP

Today's #NRFormat is more Copycat! Light Warrior is THE type for yugi's Poker Knights. And having 6 Imperial Bower is INSANE for the deck. The ED is really tight in this version. You can swamp the Flame Sword package for good traps + Rank 8 if you wanted #NRMD #NRJP

Today we've got #NR FART! Mechanical Mechanic and Mischief of the Wolves slot right in to FA, both playing really well. I opted for Radiant Typhoon for the QuickPlay synergy of Varuroon but also for the perfect deck name. Could trim some of the FA monsters for traps too
#NRFormat

Today's #NRFormat deck is Dual Avatar! Both Disguise and Cursed Copycat really give the deck a huge boost. Disguise > Copycat > Fists > Field + Token > Feet is a 1-card disruption. Blazeman Poly is another route to DA Fusions with effects, while setting up Plasma Vice

Tonights #NRFormat deck is Mega Monarch! Between Clown Crew and Gimmick Puppet Fiend Knight, there are many ways to have 2 monsters on field for a large Tribute summon. March of the Monarchs still gives you a one-sided Torrential Tribute. Just need to survive the 1st battle phase
