@savemeaseat.bsky.socialA big round of applause and bigger thank you to everyone who took part in #NowHearThis this past month. You all have wonderful taste, and I loved getting to see more of it.
Here are all my choices - we’ll see if this comes back again, but I’m super happy with the start

@atcl.bsky.socialThat's all for me for #NowHearThis: 30 songs I love that have <750K streams AND I've somehow never posted about on bluesky dot com.

I don't know about you all, but I discovered a bunch of new-to-me songs. Thanks @savemeaseat.bsky.social for running this!

#LancasterPA #PianoPop
Stop me if you've heard this one: a guitar-less trio, debuted in 1995, did both snarky piano-rock & gorgeous ballads. This is the latter, and a pivotal component of my "Melancholy Christmas" playlist.

And we end with, unfortunately, part of a catalog that does seem to itself have ended. The music lives forever though to be shared and discovered anew. Just what this exercise was all about!

Tenebre Rosso Sangue - Keygen Church
Keygen Church is a blend of synth, baroque, symphonic black or gothic metal filtered via vintage computer cult imagery. The main instrument is a huge pipe organ

The lineage is real and legit, but the music and these voices are what’s important and relevant here. Hot damn!

You know I wouldn't let a "songs more people should know" #MusicChallenge go by w/o mentioning GLMS. The opening track to one of my favorite albums, full of Michigan imagery & history.
