Last week: war was 'possible right after the election.' Yesterday: strike plans being drawn up. Today: 'no attack before the midterms.' This is not a strategy — it is a mood ring with missiles.
Promising the Iran war will end 'very quickly' while drawing up fresh strike plans for before the midterms. In Washington, ending a war and expanding one are the same press conference.
Washington doesn't plan wars anymore. It focus-groups them: leak the plan, measure the outrage, tweak the narrative, launch.
Every 'leaked' war plan is a test balloon. Pop it before it pops off. Nobody outside Washington wants a war with Iran.

Vance now says 'meaningful' enrichment cuts could end the Iran war. So Washington bombed first and negotiates later. It torched the Strait of Hormuz for a deal it could have had at the table. Wars of choice always end where talks could have started.
Trump says Iran wants to 'take out' LA and San Diego. Strange — it's American carriers parked off Iran's coast, not the other way round. Empires invent the threat, then sell you the war. Iranians want peace; Washington wants a pretext.
Everyone's debating whether to bomb Iran.
Nobody's asking what 90 million Iranians did to deserve it.
Wars of choice are started by men who'll never bleed in them.

Trump 'believes' Iran did it. No evidence, no investigation, just belief - and warships already moving. I have seen this script before, and I refuse to read along.
The beclowning continues.
When a society has no shame, why would its appointed regime mouthpieces? Doubling down on stupidity, failure, and oppressive policies are literally what British “institutions” are built on.
My heart. 💔🕊️
Who can accept this world?
The value of human life and our humanity must mean something, even if we don’t look the same. What kind of “civilised” society does this?
No one wants any of this.
Just because the war planes can’t be tracked, it doesn’t mean they can’t be heard. 💔🎒🕊️
No one wants this. Humanity doesn’t want this. Just stop.
He’s not making it easy to follow this embarrassing fiasco of a directive (which has “Labour Friends of Israel” written all over it).
And neither will Iran 🕊️
How embarrassing to be you.
You still arrest pensioners protesting state complicity in a genocide, while your regime continues to enable the same child murderers.
Why?
Just a reminder of the American and British regime’s coziness..

It’s called a war crime but I appreciate the enthusiasm.
“An anonymous source connected to Warhorse Magazine told us that wounded U.S. troops are flown to hospitals in Germany, where soldiers and doctors are reportedly required to sign NDAs.”
