Leaseholders in #NorthSomerset have been let down for too long.

That is why, since I was elected, I have pushed on this issue and strongly welcome the Government's leasehold reform announcements today.

Leaseholders have had to pay to keep a pet.

🏠 Big news for first-time buyers in #NorthSomerset!

The Government has announced a new equity loan scheme called Your First Home, designed to make getting on the ladder more achievable.

Here's how it will work:
✅ Just a 2.5% deposit
✅ Backed by a 20% government equity loan

I have been thoroughly impressed with the new Kingfisher Ward, which I expect will be treating patients who have mental health needs from #NorthSomerset

The new building has clearly been specifically designed around the needs of patients.

From the outset, there is a clear focus on creating a calm

The Labour Rural Research Group, which I am an Officer of has shared its concerns about experiences with the SFI scheme with DEFRA and No. 10.

For many hardworking farmers across the country and in #NorthSomerset, the application process for this round of the SFI scheme was made much more

I recently met with VodafoneThree to discuss the phone signal issues #NorthSomerset residents have faced in #Clevedon.

We discussed the mast works in Clevedon, which took longer than expected and significantly affected service - I'm pleased to say this has now been resolved.

I've heard from residents across #NorthSomerset, but particularly in Portishead about issue with Royal Mail deliveries.

This has caused significant disruption, with appointments missed, important documents arriving late, and residents left waiting.

With issues being experienced nationally,

examining general practice, community pharmacy, NHS dentistry and optometry together.

It looks at the barriers preventing people, like #NorthSomerset residents, from accessing care.

It discusses how funding, commissioning, workforce, and infrastructure shape those experiences,

just before his 13th birthday.

Fergus' mum, and #NorthSomerset resident, Ruth, has sent these ribbons to every MP to raise awareness and start conversations - so that childhood cancer does not remain invisible.
