I'm listening to a Radio 4 programme titled "What Did the Normans Ever Do for Us?", and 45 minutes in there's been very little of that at all. They've been telling the story of the conquest and the modern reaction to it, but not much about what the Normans actually did to/for the country #normanday
Apparently there is such a dearth of historians in the UK, that Radio 4, for its programme on the Norman Conquest, could only find one to invite who is a current Tory MP... SRLY?!
