Berlin won’t be getting the Olympics. The German Olympic Federation (DOSB) says rival bids from Munich and Cologne-Rhine-Ruhr for 2036, 2040 or 2044 are better.

(To be more specific, they’re “sehr gut,” Berlin is only “gut” according to an evaluation committee.)
