And here is my final contest entry! Surprisingly enough, I even managed to win a place with it! This time, I experimented a bit with the line art and the hair coloring. It might not be super noticeable, but I wanted to try a completely new approach for myself to create something truly beautiful and eye-catching. I'm also so glad I could make my double happy with this little piece :3

Regarding my back issues that I mentioned before - I'm feeling better now! However, I can no longer sit and work for 24 hours straight like I used to. I have to take 30-minute breaks every now and then. Right now, I'm trying to develop a faster coloring method for simpler artworks something that I would still enjoy, but that would also create an illusion of high detail. I often use blurring to speed things up, but even that takes time, especially when it comes to color picking. I still spend a lot of time adding colors, and every single color means a new layer for me. Recently, I tried using the selection tool combined with an airbrush, saving the blur tool only for extreme cases, but I still need to practice this method. I really want to find a simpler style so I can keep up with realizing my ideas - like mini-comics, for example! They take a huge amount of time if I do full coloring. I could leave them in a black-and-white manga format, but I always want to bring them as close as possible to the vision inside my head.I remember putting so much effort into my KinitoPET comic. Even now, I'm still trying to figure out how to maintain that art style and keep the vibe of the previous chapters while making the workflow easier for myself. Unfortunately, when I switched to Krita and drew a new chapter, the difference from IbisPaintX was huge.By the way, if you guys are interested, I can post that comic here too! Even if you aren't familiar with the fandom or the original lore, it's my own AU with its own storyline, so you won't feel lost at all. <3☕️✨️
