@frankvatel312.bsky.socialROUND MIDNIGHT, the Tavernier film about jazz and addiction, played #NoirCity last night. At the end, the whole audience sat in solemn contemplation as “Chan’s Song” by Herbie Hancock and Stevie Wonder ran over the credits. Having attended this fest for years, I've never seen such an awed reaction.

#NoirCity screened it over the weekend. The critics look even dumber today.
