@pmoll.bsky.socialyes--static vs. dynamic, thank you
@jauntworksstudio.bsky.socialI love how the cop asked Mike if he had a side piece—sir, he’s got Dorothy Malone all to himself!

@nonnal.bsky.socialThank you so much for this! I saw it too late for today but am very grateful and will watch the movie soon. #TCMParty #NoirAlley
@danalemaster.comThat 49.9K figure bugged me all through #Loophole. Seemed like an attempt to stay under a penalty amount. I searched-bottom line, it appears surety bond for the bank was 50K. Taking 49.9K “only” triggered the insurance bonding co.
Happy to hear from folks with more info.
@radiantaerynsun.bsky.socialIt does..oh yes.

@vanstanwyck.bsky.socialTrue. They're very static and enclosed in small rooms, whereas all the driving on the streets of LA has dynamic flow even when people are just going from point A to point B.
@pmoll.bsky.socialI guess the point is we all remain beholden to the inhuman bureaucracy controlling modern life. Seems all the more relevant today.

@dwayneadd.bsky.socialEddie's "Bar 355 spots" remind me:
🎶 I told that girl I can start right away
When she said, "Listen, babe, I got somethin' to say
I got no car and it's breaking my heart
But I've found a driver and that's a start" 🎶
Until next week fellow fans. Have a good one.

@caldesertsun.bsky.socialVera, Mary Beth Hughes, was in #TheOxBowIncident !! A great film with Henry Fonda and Henry Morgan, Anthony Quinn, Dana Andrews, Jane Darwell and a lot more
@pmoll.bsky.socialyes the use of outdoor locations is great, whereas the indoor scenes all seem shot as if the actors are on stage, rather awkward and low-budget
@dwayneadd.bsky.social#Loophole was really entertaining. A minor classic IMO.
