Early stoke above the grate, around hour 7 or 8A little reduction??? The main/anagama chamber is in the background. It's only real use this firing: it's flue, which serves as the primary air intake for the second chamber firebox

I like throwing wide pieces on hydrobats, because I can come back after leaving them overnight and they pop off, uniformly dry more or less, ready to trim

These pots have been painted with a special paint called a glaze.
It will change colour when they are fired.
