I'm wondering if I'm just not in the mood for wrestling this weekend but both #AEWAllOut and #NJPWDestructioninKobe fell below expectations for me. Ah well, regardless of the reason, it happens and I had fun watching anyway.

Didn't resonate with the main event very much. I think it's because I'm not a big Goto fan (though I do like him, to be clear!) and I never, ever bought that he'd win. Goto using the E. Honda headbutt is corny. #NJPWDestructioninKobe

That was a hell of a lariat sell by Kidd, holy shit. Hoping Shota gets to show off in the title match, win the title, and wow everyone. #NJPWDestructioninKobe

It was a really good match but that botch took me out of it and I never recovered; after that it was clear Gabe wasn't losing. #NJPWDestructioninKobe

Oh no, that's a rough botch for them to make during the ending stretch of a really solid match. Can't tell what was supposed to happen for the rope break to occur during that pin, but it definitely didn't. #NJPWDestructioninKobe

Solid match from Claudio and Takagi. I never thought Claudio was gonna win so it did hurt the match in terms of drama for me, but still obviously really good. #NJPWDestructioninKobe

That Skywalker Takeshita match was alright, but it felt like both were holding back, and the title change felt a bit flat though it makes sense since he's the new guy. #NJPWDestructioninKobe

Lovely match by Cobb and Newman, but it's mostly just good to see Jeff Cobb get to actually wrestle again. It was scary for a second there with Newman's knee, but maybe it's okay? #NJPWDestructioninKobe
