@alicepoonauthor.bsky.socialTaking Ciele's question & going in a direction y'all can see a mile away:
If you had a friend completely new to historical cdramas, which accessible but genuinely good #cdrama would you recommend as a starting point?
#ADreamofSplendor
#NirvanaInFire
#WordofHonor
#PursuitofJade
#FlourishedPeony
@jamesdramac.bsky.socialThe people making this list have clearly never seen Asian dramas, because how can #Shogun be the only one on the list? 😅
No #StoryOfMinglan, #NirvanaInFire, #EmpressesInThePalace, #StoryOfYanxiPalace, etc
No #Reply1988, #MyMister, or #TwentyFiveTwentyOne, etc
@ummundoasiatico.bsky.socialHoje é aniversário do HU GE
#cdrama #cdramas #chinesedrama #chinesedramas #HuGe #NirvanaInFire
@jamesdramac.bsky.social#ZhanZhaoAdventures is so much fun! 🤩 - I loved that one
#PursuitOfJade is definitely in my top 3 (& on another day could be first 🙂)
#NirvanaInFire is of course a classic! 👌
& if I included ships, then Yu Tu/Jing Jing from #YouAreMyGlory would be among them ☺️
