Day 7 Solstober: Gift

"Widow, Oh Weeping Widow...

Please accept this humble offering, in exchange for those I love to be returned to nature..."

#ninesols #ninesolsoc #九日 #九日oc #solstober #sketches

Greyscale image of a little solarian girl presenting something to The Weeping Widow. They both stand in a body of water, mist surrounding them. The little girl keeps her head bowed as she holds up the doll, while the widow kneels closer to the child's level, her face obscured by the shade of her hat, one of her eyes seeming to glow underneath "If you succeed in finding the widow to plead for your deceased loved ones, be humble... be respectful..."Close up of the gift the child is offering. It is a doll, and the widow's hand reaches forward, accepting the gift. "It also wouldn't hurt to offer her a gift."

Day 4 Solstober: Cruelty

Imagine being barred from the afterlife, and the only way to move on is to appease a person you wronged who might not be in a forgiving mood.

Greyscale illustration of Liǔ (Nine Sols OC) looming over a spirit of a solarian, stomping her foot on his head. Her face is shadowed out, but a close-up panel shows her eye, peering out from her wild hair, holding nothing but rage and contempt to this villager that is pleading for her forgiveness.

Solstober Day 2: Idolize.

Don't know how many I'll do but gonna try when inspiration strikes!

#solstober #ninesols #ninesolsoc #九日 #digitalart

Image of a child Jua with her great aunt Xiwang (Nine Sols OCs). They stand in a body of water, the perspective slightly above them so Xiwang towers above little Jua. Her white fur, sleeves, and accents seem to glow, and she has a gentle expression as she reaches over to Jua, about to pet her head, while her niece looks up at her with admiration and wonder

Starting the month off with a spooky gal 💀 🍁

In present day, she is called the Tea Maker. Older folks know her by her original name; The Weeping Widow.

A real solarian, or just a character from ancient folklore? No one really knows.

Image of my solarian sona, Liǔ, perching on a Fusang tendril, while others coil and weave all around. She holds a staff in one hand, and one of the roots slither into her other hand. A teapot sits on her knees. In the all black background, the ghostly image of a skull with glowing red eyes can be seen hovering over the woman

"Agony" is Peijun's codeword when he's uncomfortable without his visor to help depict his emotions

It never seems to work with his teacher.

Peijun stanced up and ready to spar with his teacher.

Also his itty bitty tail is out.

[Nine Sols OC]
Been wanting to draw these for a while, now.
(Don't ask me how Haoyu's stuck to the fence like that. Let's go with cartoon logic or something LOL.)

Nine Sols: Slay the Princess AU

First Meeting.

#ninesols #ninesolsau #ninesolsoc #九日

Comic strip of the Zhǔréngōng (Lear) descending down a flight of stairs. "You walk down the stairs, and lock eyes with the princess." Two rectangle panels show the Zhǔréngōng's eyes and the eyes of the PrincessPage showing the Princess (Jua, my NS OC) kneeling an the ground, staring at the viewer with sharp eyes. "They're a heavy chain around her wrist, binding her to the far wall of the basement."Page of showing a side-view of the Zhǔréngōng, and Ying Xiong (The Voice of the Hero) While the former is masked, the voice's expression shows that he is taken by the princess' appearance. The bg is black, and Ying Xiong is outlined in white against it to illustrate he is speaking inside the Zhǔréngōng's head. "She's so coldly beautiful... Is she really a threat to the world.

Black and white summer image of Jua and Jietong going to the beach. The queen wears a bikini with a sheer wrap overtop, and shades. The king only has a Hawaiian shirt and swim trunks. And shades

Peijun didn't expect this was what Jiequan wanted him to do in New Kunlun

WIP -

I'm working on a proper reference for Peijun, my martial artist Sol. I wanna design a few outfits for him like a gala outfit and a butler outfit.
