Above Niagara Falls, the skyline shows various buildings in New York State, of different size and shape. There are also many lights bright lights both in the buildings and along what presumably is a road. The sky is smoky grey. Also in the upper portion of the frame, the cascading water and thick rising mist act as a canvas for powerful spotlights. The colours shift in a dramatic gradient across the landscape, starting with cool turquoise and deep blue on the far left, transitioning into a bright emerald green, and ending with brilliant shades of magenta and hot pink on the right. The lower two-thirds of the image focus on the churning river below. The smooth, moving surface of the water acts like a mirror, catching ripples of violet, neon pink, and sapphire blue reflections from the lights above. At the very bottom, white frothy seafoam and dark, swirling water currents create a textured contrast to the glowing colours reflecting off the river.

Got to #horseshoefalls today. Everytime we have gone to #niagarafalls we have gone to the US side, until today. The #Ontario side was exceptional!
