National Endowment for the Humanities #NEH staff know all too well what Reduction in Force "rules" look like - yet they didn't much matter when 70% of us were swiftly fired last year under #DOGE.

Hopefully, these tips might be of help to our federal colleagues navigating this new normal.

For 20 years, the National Endowment for the Humanities had a partnership with #NSF to support Documenting Endangered Languages, preserving at-risk languages. That program was located in the #SBE directorate.

When #NEH was gutted last year, so too was the program.
We stand w/ our NSF colleagues.

We got our #NEH grant back!!!

Justice delayed but not denied. And, we now have until 2028 to spend the funds.
