Patrice Rushen has been named a 2026 NEA Jazz Master, the nation's top jazz honor, with a tribute concert September 15 at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Best known for 1982's "Forget Me Nots," Rushen has spent five decades blending jazz, funk and pop.
