Congrats to the Bats on their victory over NC! They eked out another one. I feel bad for Ashley Sanchez having her goal called back though. I do hope she'll break the scoring record this season. #NWSL #NCvGFC

Full time, 2-1 win for Gotham. Huge and gutsy win from Gotham who manage to find a late winner through Jordynn Dudley, who has her first ever multi-goal game in NWSL. #GothamFC #NCvGFC #NWSL

Talia Sommer now comes in for Jaedyn Shaw. #GothamFC #NCvGFC #NWSL

2-1 Gotham as Jordynn Dudley bundles home a rebound in stoppage time. Great job from Lavelle to head the cross back in front of goal and Dudley just gets enough on it to get it over the line. #GothamFC #NCvGFC #NWSL

The game has definitely shifted in North Carolina’s favor since the equalizer. #GothamFC #NCvGFC #NWSL

Two more Gotham subs as O’Sullivan and Purce come out for McCaskill and Bruninha. #GothamFC #NCvGFC #NWSL

Big test now for Gotham, can they re-take the lead in a hostile road environment and come away with a huge 3 points? #GothamFC #NCvGFC #NWSL

Gotham makes a sub in the aftermath of the goal. Taryn Torres comes in for Guro Reiten. #GothamFC #NCvGFC #NWSL

1-1 North Carolina score the equalizer. Natalia Staude scores her first NWSL goal off of a second ball on a corner kick. AKB made a great save initially but couldn’t stop the second chance and the game is tied once again with 20 minutes to go. #GothamFC #NCvGFC #NWSL

Sanchez tried to catch Berger out of her goal, but her shot hits Tierna Davidson square in the face on the edge of the box. #GothamFC #NCvGFC #NWSL

The game was a bit chippy in the first half and that’s intensified in the opening 10 minutes of the second half. The ref is going to have to start giving yellows to keep things under control. #GothamFC #NCvGFC #NWSL

No goal, Gianna Paul is called for offside in the buildup. #GothamFC #NCvGFC #NWSL

1-1 and it’s Ashley Sanchez with her 20th goal of the season less than two minutes into the second half. A great ball from Ryan Williams, and another great run, cut and shot from Sanchez. VAR is looking at the goal though. #GothamFC #NCvGFC #NWSL

Halftime, 1-0 to Gotham. Really good defensive performance so far to keep Ashley Sanchez and North Carolina quiet. The Courage had a bit of a late push in the closing minutes of the half, but nothing too dangerous. #GothamFC #NCvGFC #NWSL

North Carolina have started to grow into the game in the closing stages of this 1st half. Gotham cannot let them get a goal this close to the break. #GothamFC #NCvGFC #NWSL

Sanchez’s first real chance of the game results in a weak shot that Berger saves easily. #GothamFC #NCvGFC #NWSL

Really strong first 30 minutes from Gotham, especially defensively. Other than the offside goal, they’ve given up virtually nothing to the Courage so far. #GothamFC #NCvGFC #NWSL

Davidson nearly doubles Gotham’s lead but her glancing header off of the corner goes just wide. #GothamFC #NCvGFC #NWSL

Surely Juan Carlos Amorós will win the “biggest whiteboard” of the weekend award. #GothamFC #NCvGFC #NWSL

Ijeh scores, but is called offside. Poor giveaway from Reiten who held on to the ball for way too long before getting dispossessed. #GothamFC #NCvGFC #NWSL
