The National Day of Remembrance for Indian Boarding School Survivors is observed each year on September 30 as a time to honor the children, survivors, families, and communities impacted by the Indian boarding school era.

On this day where we remember our greatest national tragedy, I'm glad to be surrounded by a community that pulls together and never stopS fighting for each other.

I'm glad to be surrounded by Utahns.
