“I can’t believe it.” Naomi said, lifting a hand to her chest in an overly dramatic demeanor, with an accompanying sigh and all. “You lied to me?”

Had they been even a smidge less sure of how she was just bullshitting, which wasn’t really difficult to notice anyway since the girl was making no effort to pretend otherwise, Gin would have gotten angry. Of course they hadn’t, and not even the dumbest person ever would come close to seriously believe so. And Naomi, smart as she was, would never either.

She was just nudging Gin into telling her everything. In a very obnoxious way.

‘This,’ Gin signed, making a pause to point at their whole body in an attempt to highlight their current outfit, pastel dress and all. ‘is me.’ Then there came yet another halt, one they used for pulling their hair up for a moment, in the shape of the spiky bun that had become a staple in their work looks. ‘And this is me too.’
It was just as simple.
So much there was no doubt Naomi didn’t want an explanation, but an admission instead. And such a thing got pretty much confirmed in a matter of seconds, too.
“Aw, I knew.” Naomi told them, grinning from ear to ear. “But I’m so glad you opened up to me, Gin-kun! Look at us, we might be on the way to become besties before the month ends, don’t you think?” No, Gin replying with an exasperated huff and an eyeroll didn’t seem to discourage her in the slightest.
After all, deep down and not so deep in the end, Gin was starting to warm up to her.
