This “Schitt’s Creek” prequel is weird
#MusComEnt #TheAddamsFamily

Apparently, Cousin Itt’s car is an actual real car from Germany called a “Messerschmitt Kabinroller”

And, of course, Uncle Fester was originally Morticia's mother's uncle. From the 90s era movies onwards, he is Gomez's brother, Fester Addams.
#MusComEnt #TheAddamsFamily

In the 1964 sitcom Grandmama was Gomez's mother and her name was Eudora Addams. In the 90s era movies she is Morticia's mother and her name was changed to Esmerelda Frump (Her name was Hestor in the sitcom)

Something about Gomez being a model railroad enthusiast just makes perfect sense

“The Addams Family” (1991) began life as a possible new animated show from Hanna-Barbera of the 1964 sitcom. That grew into an animated film” and, finally, this live action version. The animated show followed in 1992 due to the film’s popularity

A few pieces of the beautiful concept art for “The Little Mermaid” (1989). At least 400 artists worked over the course of about 3yrs to made the film!

You can listen to the award winning soundtrack for “The Little Mermaid” (1989) for free here (youtube.com/playlist?lis...). Also, here’s the equally wonderful “Songs from the Sea” (youtube.com/playlist?lis...) & “Sebastian’s Party Gras!” (youtu.be/grGscfkXupg?...)
#MusComEnt #TheLittleMermaid

I had a little, plastic toy of Sebastian under his lettuce when I was a kid. I ended up passing down to my cousins whose kids now have it
#MusComEnt #TheLittleMermaid

The voice cast of “The Little Mermaid” features A LOT of Disney lifers who had leant their talents to Disney films, tv shows & theatrical shows dating back to the 60s up to recently
#MusComEnt #TheLittleMermaid

I’ve always felt that Prince Eric was more of a plot device than a character due to Ariel’s obsession with humans. Him being a handsome, decently nice, literal puppy saving prince was basically icing on the top of his being a human with a pulse
#MusComEnt #TheLittleMermaid

Ursula the Sea Witch, of course, is the sister of Ariel’s dad King Triton (per the 2023 musical based on the film). Her design was based on legendary drag icon Divine. She was originally written with Bea Arthur in mind but ultimately the role went to Pat Carroll
