A sketch on a self prepared board which is my trickiest surface to pastel on but gives some of the most painterly results. This is a 30x20cm sketch of mullein (verbascum) which grows wild around here. We had a couple of grey cloudy days recently too, which makes a nice change. #mullein#pastel#art
