@creativadventuring.bsky.socialIt is hard to believe that there would be this much snow still on the ground in June. But, #mtrainier averages more snow than anywhere else in the continental US. The #cascades and the #PNW just get an incredible amount of snow.

@jamesmarvinphelps.bsky.socialAn early 3:00 AM wake-up and a two-and-a-half-hour drive brought me to Reflection Lake, only to be greeted by a thick wall of fog and mist. But landscape photography is all about waiting it out. Around 8:50 AM, the clouds broke, revealing the view I came for.
