In Stanford #mathCircle for 1st/2nd grade this wk we reviewed hw incl finding "Handshake Numbers" which some saw as Triangle Numbers. I love how some enacted this. One made a cartoon showing she understands-why with, say, 20 people, there are 19+18+17+...+ 0 handshakes. #mtbos #iteachmath #mathisfun
