Wow. Terrific find! And a reminder that I really gotta visit certain sites I the #MountainWest. My G’Pa worked for UnionPac in Mizzou, Montana, Colorado and Wyo, including along the way, the #AnacondaMines. Not *easy,* yet as the grandson of Enslaved folks In Kentucky, he was determined to Thrive 🌄

I’m biased, since my G’Pa worked for UnionPacificRR & MiningCo but I actually appreciate this OG Industrial Tech *innovation.* Yes, it was designed to literally Extract minerals from #MountainWest regions — yet, obviously it wasn’t going to erode your Cognitive abilities or steal your manuscript. 🚂

Bonus Track: Mom’s dad + mom (my maternal grandparents, with some of Mom’s older sibs — she was the youngest of nine! — in Rock Springs, Wyoming, 1918. (My family literally helped build the #MountainWest and #NorCal. It is why I will NEVAH cede my Value to Idiot, Racist 47 and his #MAGACult.
