zooming through the sky

#MorninKimArt #DC #wip

My Superman and Lois designs again, in their Rebirth and Superwoman-inspired costumes, now with a new Hal Jordan design next to them. Hal is visibly in his 40s-ish, (physically, he's older than that. Comic book type shit.) and wearing a brown flight jacket over a white shirt, pale jeans, and a pair of simple brown boots. He stands with his hands in his pockets, looking off to the side with a small smirk and quirked eyebrow.

we're going on a trip in our favorite rocket ship

#MorninKimArt #DC #wip

screenshot of a wip featuring my designs for Superman and Lois Lane, with Kal wearing a costume similar to his Rebirth design, but without a cape, less red, and more light blue, and Lois wearing a jumpsuit riffing on her Superwoman design from All-Star Superman, that shares a few design details with Kal's.

Skip - Bug-type Gym Leader of Star Tear Island and your older brother

When your father doesn't hear back from Skip while he's on field research in the Island Forest south of town, along with a Weather Institute Professor and her intern, it's your job to go in after them.

#MorninKimArt #Pokemon #OC

design of the first Gym Leader in my rom hack, Emerald 2, Skip.

He is a park ranger themed trainer with a green ranger's uniform with white lining in various places, over a black high neck short sleeve shirt, with brown fingerless gloves and chunky hiking boots. His belt and the cuffs of his cargo shorts are fastened with ties that resemble small insects, a motif reinforced with a vaguely bug-like symbol on the front of his visor (to compliment/recall the masc player character's headband and the fem player character's backward cap). He's posed with one hand on his hip and the other raised in greeting, a cocky grin on his face.

POV: the dubious milf caught you staring at the sauna

#MorninKimArt #OC #Art

sketchy drawing of Amalia, one of my Pokémon OCs, leaning against a roughly drawn sauna background. She has the top half of her robe pulled down and off, while her chest wrapped in like a strapless fabric bra situation. She's looking at the viewer with her head tilted slightly to the side, looking like she's mid-sentence.

small adjustments to Hazel to relax her a lil bit and give her a non blobby hand

#MorninKimArt #Pokemon #OC

design for Professor Hazel, the professor character in my rom hack, Emerald 2, pictured next to the player characters for reference

She is a dark skinned black woman with cloud shaped dark grayish hair, smiling slightly to the side, wearing a pink v-neck shirt and long black skirt under a Weather Institute lab coat. She has a small pair of specs on the bridge of her nose and carries a stylized sci fi clipboard in one hand. She also wears a pair of black two-toned boots, with stockings ever so slightly darker than her skin tone on her legs.

Couple new Emerald 2 characters - Professor Hazel & Amalia

Hazel is a research lead at the Weather Institute, and studies Hoenn's altered climate 10 years post RSE Event.

Amalia is a woman the player meets after becoming Champion. Her goals and motivations are unclear.

#MorninKimArt #Pokemon #OC

design of Professor Hazel, the professor in my rom hack, Emerald 2.

She is a neat dark-skinned black woman in her 40s, with grayish hair styled after a cloud, wearing a Weather Institute lab coat over a pink top and long black skirt, and carries a Weather Insitute clipboard. She wears a pair of small spectacles on her nose and a pair of pink pearl earrings on her ears. Pictured next to her are the player characters for height comparison.

design of Amalia, a mysterious woman the player meets in my rom hack, Emerald 2.

She is an older light brown skinned woman, in her 40s, with grayish hair with a single white streak through the center, styled on top to resemble Groudon's head crest, with twin bangs either side of her face styled to resemble Kyogre's fins. Her bangs are pinned with orb-like clips, one red and one blue. She wears a two-tone green robe, tied with a blue and red belt or sash, with the two colors separated by a white zig-zag pattern. Underneath that she wears a black turtleneck dress with green wing-like patterns on the lower half. She wears simple pair of brownish leather sandals and gloves, and a second figure of her wears a beige/tan cloak with scale-like shoulder adornments (very intentionally, like Zinnia from Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire's Delta Episode wore).

Full body comm for @itmethanh.bsky.social of her OC Jade Beetle!

Lovee how this one turned out, especially the shoulder/arm scarab

#MorninKimArt #BlueBeetle #DC #OC

Illustration of Jade Beetle, a Blue Beetle OC. She is a beetle themed superhero with green armor over a black bodysuit with green lining across it. Her alien scarab is placed on her shoulder, acting as a pauldron, covering her left arm in segmented armor and giving her a stinger-like weapon on her left hand. All across the armor are jade elements like wrist bands, an arm band on her armored arm, and four jade tassels with beetle-shaped ornament hanging from her belt and hips.

the same lineup as the previous image, except now Yorick wears a white respirator with seven yellow dots lights/intakes on it. It resembles Ravi and Emir's masks, but turned upside down.
