Between the EQ'ing and a little bit of boosting down the chain of certain bands, you can *really* hear the effect the filter envelope swell in the drone layer of the new #modwave track is having on the LFOs affecting the Morph and Position parameters of the two drone oscillators

The #modwave is such an endlessly cool #synth

Before recording, I changed the rhythmical structure of the sequence and edited a 4-note section of the 32 steps to give that phrase more of a driving effect to push through from steps 13-16 into 17-20

And I landed on a very sweet spot for the chorus speed in Layer B in the back half of the song that it's giving the drone sound *just* the right amount of extra harmonic content

The combination of the drone just singing its heart out with the plucky sequence in Layer A... man, the #modwave is great

So I've been thinking for a while now about how to do walkthrough videos (if you want to call them that) with the #wavestate, #multi/poly, and #modwave

I think in order to do that and have it be worth a damn, OBS is going to need to become a part of my life

Managed to get a YouTube video done for this new #modwave sound before my body completely crashed out on me.

Checking a bit of playback just to be sure there aren't any hiccups.

I'll get it uploaded and share it soon.

Final change made to the #modwave patch to really have it ready for YouTube and Bitwig

Changed the overall pan of oscillators 1 and 2 on Layer B. Panned OSC 1 all the way to the left and OSC 2 all the way to the right (kept the sub in the middle), and that's made Layer A

"völundarhúsið" – the labyrinth, that's feeling more #modwave -ish and seeming more like that'll lean into the noisier, crunchier side of things

Building the new #modwave sound finally.

I have a sequence I like fed into a delay and reverb I like. #wavetable shopping has been a pain in the ass, and my planned modulations resulted in a humongous mess, so I'm having to completely re-evaluate all those plans.

5 for 5, and both the #wavestate and #modwave needed firmware updates to fix some bugs with sequences running with the Random Order setting switched on, so that's very important for my work that I got that fix installed
