Reabsorbtion of the Ego.

#TrailofBreadcrumbs #ModoCogitari #AdobePhotoshop #Art #Ocean #Ego

The image is a portrait of a face from the mouth up. The figure appears to be wearing a headdress that reaches past the top of the image. The face has a somewhat fish like quality and there is not a clear boundary between the face and the headdress. Both the face and the headdress are orange with pale yellow and white highlights. The texture of the face looks painted. Transparent textures faded in and out on each side of the face.

The headdress is a collection of textures ranging from stringy to bulbous and shiny. All of of it glistens as if wet. Nearer to to the top of the headdress, the colors change to blood red, gold, silver and taupe, with a deep emerald at the outside edges.

In the middle of the headdress, a figure resides and is nearly indistinguishable from the headdress. The expression of the figure seems resigned and intense. The background beyond the face and headdress is dark navy with ghostly highlights from the middle of the image to the top and pale smokey grey blue from the middle down. It seems like an inverted view of an ocean, with ocean above and sky below.
