Heading home from #MJF69 and had to make my annual trek up to my grandmother’s hill in #Woodside. #travel #memoir #MontereyJazzFestival

Day 2 #MJF69 If I’m a good girl in the morning, I can be a little bad in the evening and still stay on track. It’s about balance, not extremes! 😅😅😅 #travel #Kalisas Monterey Jazz Festival #music memoir research

Up next, Cécile McLorin Salvant! #MJF69 #MontereyJazz

Also amazing—Atom String Quartet, all the way from Poland! #MJF69 #MontereyJazz

Evidently my face wasn’t ready for the trip! 😅 Can’t wait to see what happens as I explore my roots at the Monterey Jazz Festival! I was born only a few months after the 1st in 1958, in Monterey too! #Kalisas #MJF69 #memoir #Jazz #Monterey #travel
