phase 2 was pinning the head torso and hips together. I decided that the 3rd gen tyrant legs were way to thin and week to support this guy so i used the flying tyrant legs trimmed down to give him a more dynamic look, then filled in the missing meat with milliput SF #Tyranid #MiniPainter

I found a 3rd gen Hive tyrant on the Oxfam website a few weeks ago and bought it as a " figure out something to do with this later" turns out that something o do later was turning it into a retro Swarmlord. the first step was stripping the paint left by the previous owner. #Tyranid #MiniPainter

I have been playing with heavy foil, home printed decals, and brass rod.

If you're looking for a fast effective paint stripper for your mini painting, this stuff is superb. It's safe on metal, hard plastic isn't phased by it, and resin came through undamaged. For the record, this base is a poured resin, not a print.
